Hikawa-maru 氷川丸
Hikawa-maru, an Important Cultural Property of Japan, was commissioned by Nippon Yūsen in 1930 as its signature cruise liner for the Yokohama-Seattle route.
重要文化財氷川丸は、日本郵船の代表的旅客船として1930年シアトル航路に就航。
Since retiring in 1960, she has been permanently moored at Yamashita Park.
1960年に引退して以来、山下公園を終の棲家とする。
The gorgeous interior featuring Art Deco style takes us back to the time when people called her the “queen of the North Pacific.”
アールデコ様式の華麗な内装は「北太平洋の女王」と呼ばれた当時をしのばせる。
